This page tells you what personal data we collect and for what purposes this information is collected. We aim to be as transparent as possible in this respect. This privacy policy applies to the online shop, head office and the 10DAYS concept stores.

10DAYS believes in close relationships with all partners, staff and clients, where trust and privacy come first. So we ensure that any personal information you share with us, and any information we collect about you in order to process your order smoothly, is treated confidentially. This information is processed solely to provide the most efficient and enjoyable service possible.

COLLECTED DATA & PURPOSES

We collect data which helps us provide you with the best service possible. The data will be used strictly for the purposes stated on this page. If we wish to use the data for other purposes, we will seek your explicit consent.

DATA PROCESSING

Based on your consent, we process your data from the point where:

• you place a customer order or arrange a return (purchase agreement).

This includes your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and billing address (if different from the delivery address). Your email address is used to send you an order confirmation and to communicate about your order (such as delivery updates and, if applicable, a satisfaction follow-up). Your phone number will only be used to contact you if there are any issues related to your order. All of the above data is shared with the 10DAYS distribution center and the external delivery service. This information is handled with the utmost confidentiality and will only be used to ensure the proper delivery of your order. Data is not retained longer than necessary for the purpose for which it is processed.

• you work with us as (contact at) a retail partner

This includes your contact details, such as name, business email and phone number.

Based on your consent, we process your data from the point where:

• you create an online account
• you sign up for the (personalized) newsletter, which may include the interests and preferences you have indicated or those derived from your purchases
• become a 10DAYS member at one of our stores
• contact customer service
• apply for a job at 10DAYS
• accept cookies

This includes your name, email address, home address, phone number and date of birth. If you give consent for personalization, we may also use your purchase history, click behavior, and interaction with previous emails to assign you to target groups (profiling), so the messages you receive better match your preferences. Data is stored no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was processed. You can withdraw your consent at any time. For data processed via cookies, please refer to our cookie banner. We process your data based on legitimate interest when you:

• When you make a purchase and share your email address with us, we assume you are interested in our brand and may use your email address to send you marketing messages about our products and promotions. You can always unsubscribe via the link in the email. We retain your opt-in for these emails as long as you do not unsubscribe.
  We use aggregated customer information to reach potential customers who may be interested in our products. Customer data is generally retained for up to 3 years after your last purchase.
• walk into any of our shops where there is camera surveillance. It is your decision whether to proceed, and you will be advised about this when you enter. Video footage is deleted after four weeks.
• you share your email address with us, which we may share in pseudonymised form with Meta (Facebook) to show ads to you or similar customers on social media platforms.
  
  

JOB APPLICANTS

When you apply for a vacancy at 10DAYS, we will store your name, email address, phone number, CV, photo and covering letter. This information will be stored for no more than 4 weeks after the application process closes, unless agreed otherwise. If it is agreed with the applicant that the data may be stored for longer, this will be for 1 year.

OPTIMISATION

Because we also want to know what are the most relevant future collections to show you, 10DAYS collects data relating to order history and shopping behaviour which we use to optimise our marketing and service.

WISH LIST

If you have added products to your wish list, or if products remain in your shopping basket, we can email you about this. To enable this, 10DAYS collects information about which items you have saved, or which products still remain in your shopping basket.

THIRD-PARTY PROCESSING

Data collected is not shared with third parties except where necessary to provide the service, such as with a third-party delivery company in order to deliver your order or offering payment methods through Payment Service Providers (PSPs).

At checkout, we may share your personal information, including contact and order details, with the PSP so they can assess your eligibility for their payment methods and tailor them to you. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the PSP's own privacy policy. Learn more:

When using payment methods such as iDeal, Apple Pay, Visa, and Bancontact, a window will open allowing you to log in directly with the provider. We do not transmit any data.

Your information may also be shared with processors who may process your data on our behalf, for instance for marketing purposes, the chosen payment method or IT services. We enter into a processing agreement with those parties to ensure your data is processed securely.

SECURITY MEASURES

At 10DAYS, all necessary measures are in place to keep your data secure. We use a secure server to store your data. Information we collect regarding the use of the 10DAYS website is used for future improvements and developments.

YOUR PRIVACY — VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE PERSONAL DATA

As a customer, you have the following rights. You can:

• request access to your personal data

• ask for your details to be updated

• ask for your details to be deleted

• ask for your details to be transferred to another party

• restrict or suspend processing of your personal data

To make the above requests, you can update your details in your account yourself or else contact privacy@10dayslifestyle.nl.  We may ask you to identify yourself, for example by answering a verification question.
