Our packaging

OUR PACKAGING

Throughout our whole supply-chain we use different kinds of packaging to protect our products and, traditionally, a big part of this is plastic. In order to reduce our environmental footprint, at 10DAYS we have implemented some changes in our packaging and we are currently looking into more sustainable solutions to be implemented by the end of 2020.

POLYBAGS
Polybags are thin plastic bags that are used to pack clothes. They are mostly made of LDPE (low density Polyethylene). All 10DAYS finished items are individually packed by our manufacturers in polybags. We need these bags to protect our products from dust, dirt, mold, moisture and scratching. The clothes will be protected by polybags from the manufacturer until they arrive in your mailbox. However, these bags are for single use only and end up in our bins. That is why at 10DAYS we want to reduce our environmental footprint by using a more sustainable alternative: recycled plastic polybags.

Recycling is the process of converting used materials into something new, and by doing this we keep the plastic in circulation and away from the landfills.

BOXES
To get your 10DAYS order at your door safely we have to protect the items with a box or bag. Currently, we use cardboard boxes and plastic bags. Our goal is to implement a more sustainable solution for our packages by the end of 2020.
